We hope you all out there are having  great Christmas spent with the ones who bring you joy. Those of you who may suffering from seasonal depressing or who are spending this time alone, I sent these greetings to you ten fold.

I realize that our site has been down for some time. Life. Work, school, children etc. have come in the way and taken our focus off our site. We do  apologize for the lack of content. I assure you that on December 26th 2009 we are up and running with fresh content, more sex(it seem that is what you guys like and a general overhaul of what we talk about and how we are going to deliver it to you guys. AZAGE “ACE” ASFAW…Ya’ll Know About Him??

Born Azage Asfaw, “Ace” bounced around quite a bit as a child. From Montreal to Toronto and eventually the Westside of Atlanta, he experienced the pain and the reality of street culture early. Without having any parents in his life he moved in with his aunt and uncle and grew up in the SWATS (South West Atlanta) alike colleagues Goodie Mob, Outkast, T.I and Killer Mike. Azage was once a member of a four member group at Mays High School.  One talent show in particular caught the eyes of the R&B super group 112.  After a production deal fell through he decided to put his fate in his own hands and start his own label, The High Society. Azage is the first act slated to drop amongst the label.  Azage’s appearance on the Source’s Unsigned Hype Tour gave him quick buzz in the streets of Atlanta and made him relevant on the local mixtape circuit.  Heralded  as the next best thing in Hip Hop, Azage has started to bang on the doors of the industry. In 2008 he teamed up with Dj Nice to drop the critically acclaimed  “A Different World” mixtape. Nice has been on MTV Mixtape Mondays and has also worked with Joe Budden, Juelz Santana and Joell Ortiz. Azage’s latest effort, “The Bars Outbreak” reached critical acclaim quickly. It started out as weekly freestyles for 10 weeks on major blog sites and social networks like Twitter and Myspace. The demand for more material caused Ace to put it all out into one tape with additional songs. A variety of media outlets have given the project much praise and recognition. Everyone from Hip Hop DX to Get Right Music, Rock The Dub and Kevin Nottingham have co-signed the young hot lyricist. His laid back and raw narratives depict the everyday street tales of his life and his peers. His mini movies allow you to witness why he is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with.  His flow contains charm, witty punch lines, pain and struggle that his fans simply relate to. There is a reason why his reputation holds weight. His ambition and perseverance to succeed through adversity exemplifies his future longevity and why he is called “the Ace” of this rap game.

Forgive?

I’ve watched girls battle themselves about whether or not to fcuk with the same dude that broke their heart before. Shit, I won’t lie, I was one of those girls too. The question that always pops up in my mind is whether or not it’s that easy to forgive someone who has done permanent damage on your heart. Is it that easy to forget all the wrongs they’ve committed against you? Will you ever be the same again?
    One thing I can say about females is that not only are we born nurturer, but we have strong endurance, and we forgive easily. Hey, we might smash your car out, or max out the black card, but it’s our way of forgiveness We put up with a lot of wrongdoing, whether its by the same-sex or the opposite sex. My mother has always taught me to forgive and let go so that you can be free and blah blah blah. This is the same woman who poured hot water on my father while he was sleeping….pause….yeah. I know. But throughout all my heartbreak, I’ve always taken an introspective look on not only the relationship, but on myself as well. Let’s dive into my thoughts a little deeper shall we?
    Now someone please explain to me what forgiveness is when it comes to unhealthy relationships. Is forgiving letting go, leaving him or her in search of somebody new? When I say letting go, I mean COMPLETELY! No contact, no nothing! Or is accepting the person’s faults, and attempting to keep the relationship going called forgiveness? If forgiveness is involved in both of these aspects, how many times can one person forgive????
    Sometimes my mind opens and I begin to see forgiveness as a different form of love. If loving someone means to accept them for who they are and all their faults, isn’t forgiveness the same thing? To me, the difference between love and forgiveness is simple. To love is to make your entire world, your everything, about that one person you truly love. To love is being selfish in the simple fact that you want that person all to yourself, but loving is a wholly unselfish act and feeling because you are willing to do anything for that person. Now forgiveness..forgiveness is mostly about you. People tend to think that forgiving someone has to do with them..no hunny. Forgiveness is about how this person and their actions are effecting you. It’s about knowing what you can live with and what you can live without. It’s about letting go for yourself because you know you love yourself enough to do so. Unfortunately, it’s also about accepting someone else’s faults no matter how much it is hurting you.
    All in all, falling in love is easy, staying in love is tricky, and forgiveness is the hardest thing you’ll ever have to do. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’m right..you let ya girl know!

I WANNA B.U.D.D.Y! Musiq You Know Me So Well.

“Friends with benefits.” Could it work? Does it work? Or are we humans too susceptible to growing emotionally attached to someone we’ve had sex with?

I’ve always been intrigued by this concept. In my mind it is the perfect situation for a young free woman like myself. I figured it would be easy for me to enter into this agreement. I mean not many 22-year-old men want to be tied down. Shit, me neither! Honestly, I have been looking for the perfect B.U.D.D.Y. and would you believe I haven’t had ANY luck. Ok. before we figure out if im delusional and this arrangement cannot work let me tell you how I interpret a B.U.D.D.Y.

1. Someone who I am not ashamed to be seen in public with if the information does leak.

2. Someone who won’t run my name around town because they got the whole situation twisted.

3. Someone who I could call up every now and again and go bowling or some shit.

4. Someone who knows that when it ends, we can go with no hard feelings.

I think that is simple, but I think I am alone. I’ve tried to initiate this on more than one occasion and it just didn’t work. One person I denied because he tried to spit that I want a wife shit until I let him know what it was. I figured he volunteered a lie for no apparent reason and I would like to have some level of truth with my B.U.D.D.Y so he had to GO. A second male damn near fell in love and he didn’t even get close enough to read my thoughts so then I knew he couldn’t handle it.

I think with men, it’s all fine and dandy until you put em up on game then it’s a OH EM GEE moment. I had some men tell me this is the arrangement they wanted and when I agreed without flinching they got all funny style. I think some people still believe that women are looking for a husband hard body. They can’t comprehend that many of us don’t want to be tied down. I am surely one of these ladies. It doesn’t have anything with being independent. I don’t want a commitment because I do not want to devote myself solely to a man at this time in my life. I love to travel. party, I work and I am in school. I am very social and pretty happy so I  say I am fulfilled. But. Like every entity a bitch wanna get her rocks off and my slew of female friends ain’t gonna cut it. Who know’s maybe I got the game twisted and we haven’t truly got to this point in 2009. Maybe, men still expect us to be the jump off so they can be on to the next. Maybe it’s still taboo for a female to just want the physical with out the bullshit. WHO KNOWS. What I do know is right now I am looking for a B.U.D.D.Y and I haven’t given up.

If you are like me. You sat in front of TvOne Sunday night and watched “Life After.” In case you missed it featured Bell Biv Devoe(OMG YES). It was a great episode and in my 22 years of living I must see them perform. They look great and its great to know they are still hanging tight. If anyone doesn’t know who BBD is they are part of New Edition and branched out and became a group. So I decided today on music Monday I would post some videos from the group.

I’ve been following this group or a while now. I can safe with conviction that I am truly a fan. On this site we just want to showcase talent so we like to introduce a group in their own words. I believe that it is better to hear from the group than a *critic*. This way, you the audience can form your own opinions about the group and their music. In their own words here it goes.

“What is originality ? ….. Here is a better question for you , to ask yourself and search deep within to find an answer. Who embodies originality anymore ? For you to come up with an answer to that question you would have to look deep inside and think about the characteristics and definition of that word which include freshness , creativity , novelty , idea of method or performance as well as the ability to think or express oneself in an independent and individual manner . I believe all of that to be true except for the portion about oneself … there once was a man who said all great things come in three’s and even that analogy can relate and equate to music , because the great thing that has come in three’s is Ace Boogie , Kay Special and Bueffard Mallary also know to you as “The U.N”. A collective group of three young talented males from different environments that come together and comprise a future virtuoso in the game .
The distinctive originality that The U.N portaits is what helps separate them and stand astray from the normal and usual group in music . Being able to appeal and attack all markets is what helps them become international and iconic stars over one hit wonders and overnight celebrities . Being one step ahead and trend setters instead of followers is what plays to their advantage and helps them in this modern new school era of hip hop . While artist are classified as back-packers , drug lords , gangster rappers and swag stars The U.N are different . Which is what takes of more than anything else , while artist are going “right” because thats whats selling , appealing and cool they are going “left” because thats who they are and who they desire to be . It seems hip – hop has turned into a game of high school , because everyone is struggling to be in with the popular crowd . Maybe thats why records arent selling and everybody is doing horrendous when it comes to selling records .
Ace Boogie (born Aaron Campbell) was born in Silver Spring , Maryland . Growing up Boogie had a huge musical upbringing with a plethora of different sounds which on any given day could range from the Temptations , Bob Marley , Run – DMC or Sade . With this wide variety and great understanding for different sounds and different genre’s of music it helped cultivate and mold Boogie into a wonderful story teller and amazing artist . The oddball of the group going against the grain , being different in his own but magical way helps appeal and allows you to open your eyes to his world. Kay Special (born Kenny Benjamin later to be change to Kenny Benjamin Dubuisson) was born in Boston , Massachusetts . Kspec had to deal with a ton of adversities and hardships growing up which at times tried to stand as road blocks that he overcame . Which helped him realize to take nothing for granted which is evident when you listen to the distinctive wordplay and passion and heartfelt lines he says . Bueffard Mallary (born Jovan Jose Reveron) was born in New Haven , Conneticut and bred with a very rich musical foundation having an ex-drummer and dj father as well as a mind blowing and gifted lyricist mother only helps explain half the story of why he is so gifted . Pure genius and passion is the other half of the story , gravitating towards Jay-Z , Pharcyde , A Tribe Called Quest and Talib Kweli show why his lyrical presence is brought forward and distributed throughout his music .
Originality is the true key on why this is the next group to take over and be destined for greatness , listening to songs like “Konnechiwah / Asain Girls , Fix It or The Progress shows why they are the future of what is to be heard and to be expected as well as to be reenacted and copied by a cult following of the younger generation. While tons of people do the same thing over and over again The U.N is working hard day in and day out to create new ways to distribute and promote their selves to the masses and be heard by fans . Working hard on their craft and putting in countless time and effort to make themselves better and generate more fans they are truly a label’s dream .With in the hip hop game , old trends dying out and everyone being the same thing in just a miniscule or in a slightly different form , The U.N are destin to be the next big thing and face of the music world . With the arrival of their first mixtape they are proven that they are more than an “Intermission”.”

This printer is probably the first and only Web standalone kiosk printer to date. I know you’re like ”WHAAAA she say?!” Well, What I said is that it is basically the only printer out there that can print from the Internet… WITHOUT A COMPUTER!. Ok…maybe you guys aren’t as psyched about this as me. I understand. But the other more basic features are that this printer can scan, fax, copy, and print. It can also, like most printers nowadays, print from camera’s and memory cards. This printer has a 4.3 touch screen display which is pretty cool and an integral part of the web feature. You can download app’s through this printer, one app is the Quick Forms App by HP that allows you to print out graph paper, notebook paper and calenders! Not having to wait for you computer to boot to print things from the web is super convenient.
