The HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart Web All-In-One Printer

The HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart Web All-In-One Printer

The HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart Web All-In-One Printer

This printer is probably the first and only Web standalone kiosk printer to date. I know you’re like “WHAAAA she say?!” Well, What I said is that it is basically the only printer out there that can print from the Internet… WITHOUT A COMPUTER!. Ok…maybe you guys aren’t as psyched about this as me. I understand. But the other more basic features are that this printer can scan, fax, copy, and print. It can also, like most printers nowadays, print from camera’s and memory cards. This printer has a 4.3 touch screen display which is pretty cool and an integral part of the web feature. You can download app’s through this printer, one app is the Quick Forms App by HP that allows you to print out graph paper, notebook paper and calenders! With this printer, and of course WiFi or an Ethernet cable (the cable that looks like a big fat telephone cord) you can print out anything from the web including movie tickets. Not having to wait for you computer to boot to print things from the web is super convenient. This printer works with Vista, XP, Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5…The Mac OS X v 10.6 driver will be shipping with the printer shortly but is on the site for download.

Dj Hero!

DJ HEROOO ALMOST HERE!!!!!!!

Game Play

Game Play

If you don’t know about DJ HERO…Then lemme pour the tea… It’s basically a Guitar Hero for DJ’s. The control will be a rotating turn table which looks really cool especially if you get the Renegade Special Edition control. You can play this alone or multiplayer with a DJ vs DJ mode and you can take out your Guitar Hero guitar and play the DJ vs Guitar mode, you can also take out a mic for a non-scoring addition to the song! This game would be perfect for you hip hop heads out there who loved Guitar Hero but wasn’t feeling the whole rock thing. The 100 + tracks on this game are def music to my hip hop loving ears. Tupac, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Daft Punk, MIA, Wale…Maaaaaan they better have some Kanye up in there! Anyways… the street date for this game is Oct 27!.. Cop that @ ur local game store… I’m for sure getting mine on release date!

Baltimore???

Baltimore Harbor

Baltimore Harbor

So I am a single woman and I love to travel. I travel based on nightlife(but really how many numbers I can get), and culture(but really I’m just tryna find an intellectual man). I am from Boston so naturally I would go to NY for all of this(that is what us Black people in Boston do). NY is fun because of its SIZE, everything in NY is done ten times more and the boroughs are so distinct you won’t have the same trip twice. So I am thinking about a summer trip and I am a city girl to the heart so I am all over the metropolitan area. I went web surfing(I can find almost anything on the web, ask about me), and came across a Forbes article(http://www.forbes.com/2004/06/24/cx_cv_624feat04single.html). Forbes compiled a list of the 10 best travel spots for singles. I saw all the usual NY,ATL,LA. When I saw Baltimore I said whoa buddy! Not the home of “The Wire”,not the home of the infamous row houses, not the home where we say “dog” and they say “doug”! Yes indeed BMore is a top vacation spot for us single people. Now I spent an afternoon in Bmore at the harbor and it was rather nice, but I would never have thought to actual spend a full vacation there. Now It has got me thinking maybe I will go to Bmore because like any great dangerous city(Boston included) there are some great vacation spots.

Bmore boasts a beautiful harbor, close proximity to the nation’s capitol DC and for you baseball fans the Babe Ruth birth museum. Bmore also has 50 free things you can do in the city and I’ve just picked out some of the interesting ones.

As a major cultural destination for the greater Baltimore region, The Baltimore Museum of Art organizes and presents a variety of dynamic exhibitions and innovative programs throughout the year and frequently hosts special events with cultural and educational partners. The BMA is free for everyone, every day, so that great art is accessible to all.

Climbing the 228 steps to the top of the first monument to George Washington provides an excellent view of the city from historic Mount Vernon where it is located. (A $1 donation is suggested, but not mandatory)

The 745-acre Druid Hill Park ranks among the oldest landscaped public parks in the United States.(if the name sounds familiar, that is because the r&b group Dru Hill adopted the name to pay homage to their hometown)

Like all tourist cities Baltimore has nightlife, dining and attractions. I think I may be in BMORE this summer. It seems like the wave right now.

Damn! It got two displays?!

Samsung DualView T225/220

Samsung DualView T225/220

Not really the best looking thing on the market but this Samsung DualView TL255’s dual screen is most definitely on point. I love how this cameras two displays make it soooo much easier to take self portraits. Not only does it sport a dual screen but this camera has a high resolution 3.5 inch touch screen display, 12.2 Megapixels, 4.6x optical zoom, and can capture High Definition Video. The price range on this is about $349 in most stores and if that’s too much its on www.ecost.com for 299.

Oh. No. Why you’re teeth look like that?

Now, we all don't want to look like yuck mouth.

Now, we all don't want to look like yuck mouth.

We love our readers. We want you all too keep coming back. We want you all to be healthy(we’ll healthy enough to visit our site and major dental work would prevent this). So we are here to tell you that “oral health is part of overall health”, believe it. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve met people with severely neglected teeth. This can lead to gum disease,Halitosis, and cavities. People do not understand how this truly can affect your quality of life. Missing teeth are never a good look. No one wants to talk to you if your breath is FUNKY. Bad teeth can lead to other medical issues such as migraines, and abscess. I hate so see another person be miserable when it is so easily preventable. I’ve included some tips to prevent the most common of dental issues; Cavities.(the devil)

Cavities are holes that form in the teeth, and can cause pain until they are filled by a dentis

The U.S. National Library of Medicine suggests how to help prevent cavities:

  • Practice good oral hygiene, which means flossing each day, brushing at least twice daily and getting a professional teeth cleaning twice a year.
  • If you want something sticky, sweet or chewy, eat it with other foods as part of a meal instead of alone. Brush your teeth or rinse your mouth with water afterward.
  • Minimize snacking, which increases acid production in the mouth.
  • Avoid high-sugar drinks, chewing gum with sugar, or sucking on sugary candy.
  • Consider getting a dental sealant applied to your molars to help prevent cavities.
  • Use mouth wash and toothpaste with fluoride.(health.yahoo.com)

Advice: SEE YOUR DENTAL PROVIDER EVERY SIX MONTHS. IF THERE IS INDEED A PROBLEM IT CAN BE PREVENTED OR TREATED EARLY. IT WILL KEEP YOU FROM LOOKING LIKE THE PIC ABOVE.
